KMMI was invited to GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc., for their relief operation as volunteer at Capitol University, the relief team leader of GMA Kapuso Foundation,Inc., asked KMMI if it is possible to help them in distributing their remaining nonfood items to those affected areas. They will provide the goods and KMMI will shoulder the transportation for delivery , food and communication expenses for volunteers . Since KMMI is eager to help our co-kagayanons we response and say YES without reservation. The nonfood item includes the following:
Bundle of clothings, Bundles of shoes , juices, detergent soap and cases/boxes of water
KMMI will be pulling out good on December 30,2011 first batch and after sorting and repacking the distribution will follow. KALINAW MINDANAO MOVEMENT, INC. - CHILDREN, YOUTH AND CITIZEN FOR PEACE ACTION , after all deliberation and presentation the office of Youth Council, and Clan Founders with the consent of Chairman of the Board of Directors, discussed and decided upon after the emergency meeting early afternoon, that the nonfood item to be purchase is a family size Mat or “banig”. This will be subject to final approval of the Board of Directors with a majority vote. Meanwhile, Ms. Chusuy Fasoy and I will be canvassing the said item at JAG marketing and UNITOP CDO to be presented to the Board of Directors on December 23,2011-BOD emergency meeting. If once purchased, it will be distributed on a target date December 28-29, 2011. The distribution will be depending on the list prepared by the Youth Council officers and may be validated by the KMMI officers or members. Online donor/sponsor Ms. Tess Bautista and company donate (8,000.00) from Albay , unnamed from Cagayn de Oro (8,000.00) and two unnamed individual (1,000.00 each) from Cagayan de Oro City and Ozamis City, total donation worth 18,000.00 pesos only. This money should be used on what is needed for all affected members and nonmembers of the organization within KMMI reach. The organization is thanking GOD for sending us HIS angels and people who have big and generous heart even though some of them do not have personal connection to KMMI officers and members, but still they trust and confident to give cash donation. In connection to typhoon sendong relief operation and donated funds, KMMI will hold emergency meeting on December 21,2011 , 1:00 PM at Park Cafe DV-Soria to be attended by YC and December 23, 2011 at KMMI central office 2:00PM for BOD.

If the YC President and Vice president will resign to their respective offices with and without just reasons and verbal or written notice, the office of the BOD will take over the office of the Youth Council and may be declared as “YC is on leadership and constitutional struggle”. The BOD will appoint within the member of the Board who will take in charge the office of YC, this is to prevent any problem may arise during implementation of the official activities and projects of the organization.

KALINAW MINDANAO MOVEMENT, INC. - CHILDREN, YOUTH AND CITIZEN FOR PEACE ACTION. Since the world is continually changing, continuous organizational learning that leads to organizational restructuring are necessary to be efficient , effective and balance organizational programming.
The Organization will restructure and reposition its Board of Directors and Executive Councils Officers. Likewise, By Laws , policies and procedure of the organization will be amended during the annual Board of Directors meeting 2010.
I would like to request every Board of Directors and Executive Councils Officers to give ways without any reservation for the restructuring process of Kalinaw Mindanao Movement, Inc. (KMMI). To those officers that will be retrench , you will always be a member or the organization. I hope that you will continue serving KMMI by volunteering your presence and time to any organization's activities. The affected Board of Directors and Executive Council Officers positions on the retrenchment will be given certificate of service award.
Retrenchment is not the end of our service and our membership to KMMI, but this is the beginning of mature and new system of KMMI.

He will be in Dipolog City to join the assessment team for the youth in five major cities in Mindanao. Furthermore, there is no definite time when will he come back to Cagayan de Oro City.
Our Executive Vice President, Mr. Joel Sarimosing is currently working at Limketkai Mall, that is why our Executive President choose Mr. Joenel Penar to be the OIC to his office. I am also confident that Mr. Joenel Penar can be effective and has the capacity to be an OIC.
May I request the executive councils and the clan founders to support our OIC as he assumes the office of the President.

Consultation meeting will be held at BBQ Station , DV-Soria X.U branch on September 11,2010 @ 6:00PM that will be attended by the Borad of directors who are available, executive council and clan founder under K-Mindanao circle of clans only. The objectives of the consultation meeting are to feedback minor and major problems that were encountered during the implementation of various activities organized and funded by the KMMI and circle of clans. Planning for the upcoming activities will follow respectively.
May I request the executive councils and the clan founders to be at the meeting at exactly 6:00PM. I am hoping for the 100 percent attendance.

Kalinaw Mindanao Movement Inc., shall recognize and respect the autonomy of Mindanao Active Society (MAS CLAN) which pertains to setting up special rules and regulations and Constitution and By-laws and set of officers, however these should not be contrary to Kalinaw Mindanao Movement, Inc.
